The Story behind Big Sky, an American Bison.
Paul Hopman’s inspiration came from doing art shows featuring his scratchboard art outside Jackson Hole, Wy.
“I would drive the roads looking for Deer, Elk, and Bison. I find the early morning when the sun is just coming up and the roads have minimum traffic, is a great time to nature at its best. Small groups are returning to their beds away from the tourists and traffic. This bull Bison was by himself in a large stand of grass. At first, I thought it was an abandoned van. That is when I saw his breath.”
Inspired by the American Bison, Scratchboard Artist Paul Hopman, creates Big Sky.
